Let It Flow! is a carnival style bean bag toss game designed by Scott Pennington for the Arlington Art Truck 2024 season. Partnered with the Arlington Water Pollution Control Plant, the game was designed to educate county residents about proper waste disposal the avoid interfering with the county water treatment process. Game players learned where to discard items safely by tossing colorful bean bags with images including dental floss, cotton swabs, cigarette butts, cat litter, human waste, food scraps, toilet paper, water and flushable wipes into color coded targets. The targets included a waste basket, sink, food scrap recycling bin and a toilet. The game accommodates 2-3 players at a time and toured through Arlington County, VA, stopping at various public events including street festivals and farmers markets throughout the fall of 2024.
